The Scouts attended the Durham Children's Watershed Festival at Camp Samac tonight, and were able to participate in a variety of learning stations that included:
- creating an aquifer using whipped cream and sprinkles
- observing the salmon spawning in the Oshawa Creek
- racing to identify recyclable and reusable items
- meeting wildlife from the Soper Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
- sitting in a snowplow
Make sure you check out our Facebook page to see the video of Aly sounding the snowplow horn!
