Portage Camping at Katrine

The Scouts worked hard this weekend as they canoed more than 15km down the Magnetawan River and portaged around a power dam to get to their destination. Everyone learned the importance of working together as a team, and how to carry canoes over uneven terrain.

While we were travelling, the Scouts saw a moose calf, went swimming in the river, and had some delicious ice cream in Burke's Falls.

Great job, everyone!
