Remembrance Day at Memorial Park

Remembrance Day at Oshawa Memorial Park was a solemn gathering of Scouts, Venturers, Cubs, and Beavers.

Here at Memorial Park, we discussed the importance of remembering the sacrifices that our soldiers made in order for us to experience peace and freedom. We explored the Garden of the Unforgotten, examined the cenotaph for the names of the brave individuals who died in World War 1, and studied the stones that were imported from the battlefields of Ypres, Vimy Ridge, Arras and Passchendale.
